HIPAA Training
HIPAA stands for Healthcare Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act of 1996. This training discusses the importance of client confidentiality and how volunteers should handle client information. For healthcare workers, please note that HIPAA regulations are the same during disaster situations as they are at all other times.
All non-medical volunteers wishing to serve as Leadership Level volunteers are required to take this training.
